About the Livelihood Program

The aim of our Livelihood program is to provide community members with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to improve their economic opportunities and build sustainable livelihoods. We believe that access to economic opportunities is a key driver of social and economic empowerment, and we are committed to helping community members achieve their full potential.

Through our program, we offer training in a variety of livelihood skills, including vocational training, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. We also provide access to microloans and ongoing support to help community members start their own businesses and improve their economic opportunities.

Our program is focused on promoting economic self-sufficiency and building sustainable livelihoods that can withstand economic and environmental challenges. We are committed to creating a more equitable and sustainable future for all members of the community by unlocking their potential and building their future through economic empowerment.

Some of the key objectives of our program include:

  1. Promoting sustainable farming practices: We aim to promote sustainable urban farming practices that minimize negative environmental impact, increase the availability of fresh produce, and improve soil health.

  2. Empowering aspiring farmers: We provide aspiring farmers with training, resources, and microloans to start their own agricultural businesses and improve their livelihoods.

  3. Advocating for policy change: We advocate for policies and programs that support sustainable urban agriculture and environmental conservation.

  4. Increasing food security: We aim to increase food security in the community by promoting access to fresh produce and empowering community members to grow their own food.

  5. Building community resilience: By promoting sustainable farming practices and supporting local agriculture, we aim to build a more resilient and self-reliant community that can withstand environmental and economic challenges.
